This glitch will be patched in the next earth update. For now try using a laser to remove the fur ball :)

The spawn might be bugged, try opening and closing the door to see if it respawns. If that doesn't help, reset your checkpoint by going to sleep and then open a can of cat food in the kitchen
Also trying to throw stuff at it may help it unstuck from it's glitched place.
Towel rack to shower curtain rod, then quickly across the tile ledge to the top rack. I know, have had cats.
