Christopher "buying a Jumbo to crash it because I don't like CGI" Nolan was lying to us!

It was impressive to hear Nolan bought the cornfields to shoot the film, but when I found out he didn't actually release a blight on the nearby crops? Disappointed.

Literally unwatchable.

I heard they faked the time dilation effect of interstellar travel, rather than doing it with practical effects on location, too.

Lazy!

I didn't bother watching it when I learned they weren't gonna use practical effects for the black hole

I mean, it's 1 particle generator. What could it cost? 10 dollars?

Everytime something falls over I ask if cooper is there.

I can tell by the pixels and from seeing a lot of movies in my days that this is indeed CGI.

Yeah it’s a shame they didn’t go for the real thing.

They should've gotten Stanley Kubrick to direct, he would've shot it in space.

I just watched this for the first time last night. Such a beautiful movie.
RoyalEngineering@lemmy.world · 1 pts · 3y
Yeah really beautiful. Almost as good as the real thing.
