No, it was actually pretty simple and didn't take that long. It looks complex because of the curves but if you draw out a full sized template then it's pretty easy.
Wow that is a gorgeous piece. Treat yourself to the local ice cream joint or something you like, because you definitely deserve a reward for a job well done!

Its hard to say because I picked away at it between a couple other projects. Just guessing, maybe 15 hours at the most.
