The UK Government does not support the plans, saying there is no safe way to take illegal drugs

This is such a shitty take. Obviously drugs are dangerous. But its far safer taking them in a controlled environment with medical professionals and clean syringes etc rather than in some hovel with a syringe being passed around multiple people and no supervision
