He was the perfect choice for Don Draper but I'm glad he was able to branch out too. He's a good actor.

He is. He's sort of like a reverse Bob Odenkirk. Odenkirk started in comedy, eventually moved to drama.

Up until Mad Men Hamm was mostly in drama, then made a quick turn and ended up in lots of comedy, ever since. I would honestly say, after a quick check of his IMDB, that he's done more comedy than drama since Mad Men ended.
