Assuming this is accurate, this is one of those cases where someone just happens to look way more modern than they are. She would fit in without issue in 2023 and even the current military dress uniform for at least one of the branches is sort of a throw back to the 40s era uniforms.

WAC armorers maintained and repaired small arms and heavy weapons that they were not allowed to use.
