Alright, I never asked you to become vegan. I just pointed out your code of ethics, when it comes to what animals do and don't deserve empathy, is cruel and irrational. What you do with that information is up to you.
I agree, let's let the animals outside and enjoy their lives. I'm still going to eat them, I just want them to have a nice life before I do. Buy grass fed, organic, cage free, vote on bills supporting outdoor space, make it happen.
I love eating meat and I want it to be as expensive as it needs to be. Have it be something special again instead of something you eat three times a day.
In my experience, no one lectures you more than a meat eater when you tell them you don't eat meat. Like bruh you could have just dropped it and moved on, now it's been an hour of you telling me about how bacon and ground beef are like 90% of your personality and you'd die without them, and don't you know humans are predators who evolved to eat meat?

I have a medical issue that makes it difficult to eat most meats and no matter now many "I can't" and "it was literally killing me" I say they still come back with "well I would anyway. Cool, you do you but I'm not gunna die because a bacon triple cheeseburger sounds tasty.
I feel like I should also mention that if you're single it's also an issue, why people feel the need to put it in the profile of a dating app that's let's be honest a hookup app is beyond me.
