No, this summer has been nothing but non-stop record-breaking heat. I'm glad it is over.

All of which is obviously a coincidence and has nothing to do with the endless carbon we've pumped into the atmosphere.

Unfortunately due to increasing temperatures, they stick deep into winter nowadays....

sensiblepuffin@lemmy.world · 2 pts · 2y

Plus, since the winters are mild, more of the larva/eggs hatch, creating a positive feedback loop...

I live in the southern US. Fuck summer.

expatriado@lemmy.world · 13 pts · 2y

nothing controversial for those like us that live in hot and sticky climate, where summers can be miserable

Me, who lives in the southern hemisphere: 💀🔥

Lolgeese@lemmy.world · 5 pts · 2y

Always would rather be cold than hot. I hate the sun going down at 4:30cst but at least I'm not sweating

HurlingDurling@lemm.ee · 5 pts · 2y

Fuck summer, I want all seasons EXCEPT summer, shits insufferable

_number8_@lemmy.world · 2 pts · 2y

the sunsets are the only flaw -- i can literally feel myself getting more depressed and moodier when it's dark at like 7pm. the actual clock change is the fucking worst; last year i literally felt unable to get out of bed for two weeks right afterwards

hook the crisp fall air to my veins
