Nobel Prize in Chemistry 2023 to Bawendi, Brus and Ekimov for discovery and synthesis of quantum dots

I’m not a huge science person, but I didn’t expect discoveries from the 80s and 90s to receive the 2023 Nobel Prize… very cool though
