Up until recently, Lemmy had a hard coded (like, a regex compiled into the fucking Rust binary) slur filter which would perform such marvels of content policing like turning Stardew Valley into Sremoved Valley. So what do you think?
It was censoring “tard”, which is a shortened form of retard. As in “hey Jimmy, quit scratching your crotch at the kids soccer game you tard, you’re making everyone uncomfortable.”
