Looks like the complaint itself was filed on Sep 30 while the loss was noticed on Aug 28. This means a month already passed. The police seem to say all the commercial establishments have CCTV recordings for a month. It looks very fishy. I wonder if the contractor itself replaced it elsewhere to recover his loss from multitudes of bribes he must have surely paid.
