c/mechanicalkeyboards · by FearlessSpiff@lemmy.world · 3yI have to admit that I like this almost better than all my Ferris Sweeps. Time to order another one. 44 points · 11 comments · view on lemmy.world

I would buy one in a heartbeat if they had three keys in the thumb clusters 🥲

Do you mean one 2u key in the middle instead of the two? If so, that's an option.

I like the revuing link a lot. I just wish they had more aggressive column stagger. My pinkies are short, dammit!

I kind of don't care. I feel like it is not as comfortable but I get easier to the upper pinky key. No idea why.

It looks cool.
Do you in general like unibody splits more than split splits?
FearlessSpiff@lemmy.world · 2 pts · 3y
It's my first unibody "Split". It's not as comfortable but I like the heft to it. Nothing moves when hammering into the keys. ;)

How is you layout on a 34-key keyboard?
FearlessSpiff@lemmy.world · 2 pts · 3y
I designed it myself with some common best practice stuff. I love it: https://github.com/FearlessSpiff/reviung34-zmk-config/blob/feature/initial-config/config/boards/shields/reviung34/reviung34.keymap

I didn't design the key layout though. It is this: https://neo-layout.org/Layouts/mine/

I could never use this but I'd love to hang one on my wall!
