I really like 55, but I'm just a fan of sailboats. I'm not a flag expert, so I'm not aware of the design constraints and expectations surrounding a flag.

The only real rule that it breaks is that it should be easy to draw and it shouldn't have details that get lost when it's viewed up on a flagpole.

I like 43, it's remains simple and readable but the designer seems to have had some fun making it. It's different from other flags but the inspiration of the geometry from styles like 48 is clear.
