That's the most Colombian match I've seen Colombia play in a while

amaddeningposter@alien.top · 1 pts · 2y

with tabarez we wouldn't have been so defensively suspect. OTOH, with tabarez the team would have given up after 2-1

Classic Colombia “good” performance. We miss a good 9 so so bad. We dominated that game and somehow ended up hanging on to a tie.

loccupss@alien.top · 1 pts · 2y

I’m pretty sure you haven’t beaten us in Montevideo in like 10 years.

GreatSpaniard@alien.top · 1 pts · 2y

Fun game. Excited for Uruguay vs Brazil

Great James game gone to waste due to wasted chances but overall fair because Uruguay had the chances in the 1st half and the second goal should not have counted.

Luis Diaz was crap

flaycs@alien.top · 1 pts · 2y

Thank you Darwin for saving us. We probably should have lost just based on the amount of chances that Colombia missed, but it was a well earned draw.

But how that second goal was given I’ll never know. I hate that our games are always full of controversy.

stonnmantis10@alien.top · 1 pts · 2y

Colombia's second goal should have never stood.

MauBlackLagoon@alien.top · 1 pts · 2y

Colombia's time wasting got rewarded dearly, only 5 minutes of added time in the second half... Colombia's second goal not being disallowed might end up in another post match apology + referee suspension. Not to mention the constant lasers in the face of every Uruguayan trying to execute a set piece, that at least wasn't a refereeing related issue, and even then Darwin managed to score a screamer of a penalty while being blinded by the lasers.

I'm sure Colombia will get demolished in the Estadio Centenario.

negronium_ions@alien.top · 1 pts · 2y

What a fucking shit show

The ref was absolutely shocking and should never ref again.

Bielsa's gameplan was just wrong and we played like shit in a weird 3313 formation or some shit. Leaving Diaz alone without a RB was some real psycho shit

naniii99@alien.top · 1 pts · 2y

Im not feeling all the MLS and Mexican league players. Kike Olivera over Suarez?

Bielsa is a stubborn fuck.

CR7_LM10@alien.top · 1 pts · 2y

James goal and assist, how was he?

Agus-Teguy@alien.top · 1 pts · 2y

Albiceleste_D10S@alien.top · 1 pts · 2y

Colombia will be kicking themselves.

Should have put the game away in the 2nd half up 2-1

L-Freeze@alien.top · 1 pts · 2y

how was fabrinha?

With Tabárez we would have conceded only once but with Tabárez we would have had one shot. I'll take a 2-2 with questionable defending and passing over Tabárez terrorist ball

Xtarviust@alien.top · 1 pts · 2y

Horrible defending from Colombia, James bossing the field went to waste, shame

loccupss@alien.top · 1 pts · 2y

And yea Brain Rodriguez is a donkey

SparklyEarlAv32@alien.top · 1 pts · 2y

Our defense is garbage, our attack has the same problems as the last qualifiers and James being our best player says a lot of how disjointed we are as a team.

Don't get how a team can just switch off so much on the last minutes to throw away a win.

flaycs@alien.top · 1 pts · 2y

We missed too many chances, and Nico did not play well at all in the first half and most of the second.

I think the team that Bielsa is putting out is fine, and so are his tactics. If we finished at least half of our chances from the first half then we would have gone 2-0 before they scored their first.

SantiFRV_@alien.top · 1 pts · 2y

Stupid is the only adjective I have to describe that tie. We could've been up 3-1 or 4-1 easy. Pero se sabía. Either way James played his best game for Colombia in years. Definitely some positives to take to Ecuador but this feels like a loss.

Nut-King-Call@alien.top · 1 pts · 2y

lamancha@alien.top · 1 pts · 2y

Chrisnyc47@alien.top · 1 pts · 2y (1 reply)

Puntos de oro, here we go!!

atropicalpenguin@alien.top · 1 pts · 2y

Seabastard@alien.top · 1 pts · 2y

Typical Colombian ending to a game

loccupss@alien.top · 1 pts · 2y (3 replies)

When was the last time we produced a good winger? Pellistri and Brian Rodriguez are so underwhelming

Jaja6996@alien.top · 1 pts · 2y

Could Valverde not pay further up once Bentancur comes back from injury like he’s done for Madrid previously because Nunez was so isolated in this game

flaycs@alien.top · 1 pts · 2y

Pellistri should have had an assist to be fair.

WTFitsD@alien.top · 1 pts · 2y

Handball goal and playing 2 minutes of an added 5 when it should have been 7+ lmfao. Still though, draw at baranquilla is a huge result and colombia is looking a lot better than last qualifiers

Juantakesall@alien.top · 1 pts · 2y (1 reply)

Not a bad result for Uruguay. One of the games I really think having Suarez come in as a super sub would have made a difference . Biela going to have to change some stuff up .

I’m Uruguayan objectively we are lucky to get a point from Colombia. Valverde needs to play in the right winger position and Pellistri needs to be benched. I’m starting to understand why Manchester United doesn’t give him minutes. Pellistri needs to get his situation sorted out and go on loan and get regular playing time. Next Brian Rodriguez has no business in the national team. Maxi Araujo is much better and was much more effective when he came on as well as playing well during the other qualifying matches so far. Also Olivera from Napoli needs to start over Piquerez and Santiago Bueno from Wolves needs to start over Sebastian Caceres. The defense today apart from Ronald Araujo was very shaky and it looked like Colombia could have scored more goals if they had better finishing. Man I really hope Ocampo who came back from a knee injury with Cadiz last year can find his form again and be given a chance for the national team. Apart from Maxi Araujo the other wingers like Pellistri (needs to go out on loan and get regular minutes), Brian Rodriguez and Kike Olivera are simply not good enough.

Núñez no hizo nada hasta el penal. And he should shave that stuff on his face
