UK government considers preparing for scenario of unexpected collapse of Russian Federation

I'd have liked if this wasn't news - surely the point of having such a large civil service is that we have contingency plans for the collapse of any world power, along with plans for a lot of less-likely scenarios - but considering the response to COVID was such a shit-show, that might be wishful thinking. Who could have seen a global pandemic happening, eh, maybe have a few plans to activate just in case?

Wishfull thinking. Britain needs to be building up miltary asap for direct russian conflict Polish style.

I did not expect to see such stories again, I was around the last time it happened.
