Nope, that is a Coprinus comatus lookalike - Coprinopsis atramentaria. You don't want to consume alcohol within a few days of eating that mushroom, before or after.
You're absolutely right, looks like I've been worried for nothing. They're quite similar, but have some key differences for proper identification like the lack of scales.

Delicious! If I recall, they react poorly with alcohol so don't drink if you've had them. One of the tastiest mushrooms imo.
