The sidebar says:
I've heard this, but really?? Has anyone actually gotten in trouble for saying that online?
I've never heard a news report or lawsuit that says, "John Doe found guilty today in a court of law because he misdiagnosed conjunctivitis."
Tremendously high??

Personally I'm not from the US, so I might not be the best source for this, but I've personally never heard an actual case either. This text was written by one of the US-based mods on Reddit, and I trust them for that.

Hey there. I run the !health@lemmy.world community with a pinned list of health-related communities.
There are 2 comms for blindness and vision impairment. Should I include this one among those or into a new category? Still trying to figure out categories.

I guess that's up to you, but eyetriage is usually compared with communities like askdocs. One could look at it from 2 perspectives; from the complaint (then your category is correct), or from the type of question the people may have (diagnostic vs support group); that'd require a new category I suppose.

I'll place it under vision for the time being, and I guess we'll see how it develops. Communities can grow into other things than were intended. I'm not familiar with the original Reddit sub and I'm not seeing any askdocs-style communities here yet.
Meanwhile feel free to make a post at !health@lemmy.world introducing your community (or I can, but you'll probably describe it better).
