It always feels especially odd for Paramount to pretend the US is the whole world when the IP is ST specifically.

I wouldn't be surprised if there were licensing issues in play, but that doesn't make it any less frustrating.

If promotional content is covered by the same regional deals as the shows...maybe?
Or it might simply be easier on Paramount's end to block 'em all and call it a day.

Yeah I think the "block 'em all and call it a day" feels like what it is to me. But to be fair even that is an improvement from what I had thought originally was just them not actually caring at all lol.
