I genuinely feel so bad for US students. Why do student loans have any interest at all, or at least such a high interest rate.
It's just such a terrible system that fucks over anybody trying to get an education, unless they can pay it off with Daddy's money or be one of the few that gets a high enough paying job that it doesn't cripple you.
I have a $70,000 loan but thankfully I live in a country with 0% student loans interest (unless you move away to another country to live), so it means I can essentially ignore it and pay 10% of my income into it for the next decade or so and then it'll be gone, whereas I've heard of people in the US paying many thousands of dollars in a year and only seeing their loan go up.

coincidentally, staying in school is the reason I need so many drugs.
nerds aren't very streetwise, most of them have trouble finding a dealer.

That’s not true, I keep accidentally dating dealers. Maybe it’s my taste in hillbilly women with a hippie streak, but I don’t have a control group
