A walnut bowl I just finished

Album

I'm starting to use some of the walnut blanks I got a few weeks back. This one is almost 14 inches in diameter and has a rim of segmented walnut with inlays of cherry. It's finished with a friction polish of boiled linseed oil and natural shellac.

Wow, that looks amazing, must have taken a long time to carve all of that from one piece.

Also, must have been really hard to find a walnut that big.

That is beautiful, excellent work. Do you sell them or is it for fun?

Answered my own question by looking at your post history. You have some talent!

Can you put other stuff in it too, or just walnuts?

I like the way you stage your photos, clean and consistent. Nice bowls too!
