I just wanted some recommendations for an upgrade path going forward. I've been thinking about doing a platform upgrade and getting the 7800x3d, but i'm not sure if it would be better for me to upgrade my CPU or GPU right now as the upgrade would nearly cost the same on either side, so I'd have to go with one or the other. It's hard to find info on an upgrade option that would suit the gtx 1080ti online. There's stats, but its hard to actually see Gpu vs. Gpu with actual games, so I don't even know what I would go with on the GPU side of things.
I have 2 monitors at 2k. I play a lot of Escape from Tarkov and other very poorly optimised games, but I still want to at least run the games at better FPS than i'm getting currently. I was just playing 7 Days to Die the other day and was getting around 27fps in a base that we built which is pretty rough. Definetely a poorly optimised game, but I would still prefer to have a bit better performance than that. Any recommendations?
