This feels akin to when the internet first came out and the companies that forsake it tanked. Financial is seems like a super slam dunk! WFH means millions saved rent, utilities, insurance, theft, tardiness, ect. There is a plethora of reasons why some companies are against it, but my theory is that the upper management is far too inexperienced with modern technology and is easily outclassed by their lesser. Thus in order to retain the illusion of power , and their ego, they refuse to change out of self preservation.
