(Disclaimer: I posted this here because these are both UL tents and I figured you guys would be much more knowledgeable than other subs, lmk if I did something wrong)
I have found a used duplex for $400 and new, unused x-mid pro 2 for $600. What do you guys recommend? I’m 18yo and this will be my first backpacking tent and I’d like to have it for a long, long time.
I live in southern California and backpack all over the state. I don’t backpack in one climate more than another (mountains vs desert).
