What Cut of the Original Film Do you Prefer?

https://www.msn.com/en-us/movies/news/6-ways-blade-runners-theatrical-cut-was-changed-by-later-versions/ar-AA1cHFP9

Not a new question for the internet, but curious what thoughts are out there. Myself, I didn't see the theatrical first. I saw the director's cut on home video and eventually bought the final cut. Having seen all, I find myself preferring the final cut. Thoughts?

I always and still prefer the original/International Theatrical cut.

When I first saw Directors cut, I was kind of offended, it seemed all wrong to me without the narration.

I have later warmed up to Directors cut, but still prefer the original. I have no idea why it was considered confusing? It remains a masterpiece, that I still consider one the absolute best SciFi movies ever made, only later matched by the Matrix, and Terminator is close IMO.

I hear you. It’s at the top of sci fi films for me too. The sequel 2049 is also up there.

Yours may be the best answer. ;) I hadn't heard of the White Dragon Cut fan edit. That page says it was going to come out last year. Do you know when the release can be expected?

Director's cut. I'm not a fan of the narration and l like the ambiguous ending, where they just step out the door and leave.

Yup. Final Cut has similar ending. I have similar thoughts on the Ford narration.

I'm inclined to say the director's cut. I don't remember the different versions super well, but appreciate the ambiguous ending and related bits that are in the directors cut- I feel like the story works better with them in.

Yes, I'm inclined to agree. I don't dislike the original cut with the voice over, but think the director's cut and final cut add so much more to the story.
