As somebody who's expertise ends at cornering my bowl I was astounded by this discover. Why didn't we know until now? This seems like so obvious in hindsight.

There are also volitile sulfuric compounds that contribute to the smell. And we still have to figure out how and if they affect the effects.

Sulfur (hydrogen sulfide) itself does. Examples of other sulfuric smells include skunk and garlic.

Have been doing this since the late 80s and have never heard the term "cornering" before! I looked it up (yes, on a telegraph powered card catalog library lit by coal oil lanterns). :)
