People doing the u/ before the someone's fully-qualified username is such a weird thing to see.

justcallmelarry@lemmy.world · 8 pts · 3y

I guess this will come sort itself out in the long run (like what format to have when talking about other users), but for now i didn’t want there to be any confusion of it being a community rather than a user, and since you can just register the same username on different instances that also kinda felt lazy not to include.

Agree that it does look a bit verbose, though

Also @OP, remember that you can edit titles.

justcallmelarry@lemmy.world · 1 pts · 3y

What would be the better way to write the title in this case? Just leave off the instance?

justcallmelarry@lemmy.world · 1 pts · 3y

Took a stab at it

justcallmelarry@lemmy.world · 1 pts · 3y

Is this way better?

No problem! We need to spread the word to the people who pretend they don’t like this type of comedy

I'm dumb could someone explain the joke to me?

OmniGlitcher@lemmy.world · 8 pts · 3y

"How about 10 tomorrow?" typically refers to the time, probably 10am in this case. However it can also be interpreted as "How about 10 coffees tomorrow?".

psyonity@lemmy.world · 2 pts · 3y

10 coffee is a bit much
