I remember something about how 9/11 happened in the cars universe because there's airport security, and the airplanes are sentient so that leads to some interesting questions.
Every part of the universe is oddly terrifying if you stop to think about it. Are cars born? Made? What do they eat and drink (gas?) and do they go to the bathroom? Where did people go, and could a person still sit inside a car? Or are doors vestigial now. Or were there never humans, but then why have doors and trunks?
There's a pope car, does that mean there is a god car? Was Jesus car crucified on a car shaped cross?
It's best to just think "haha funny car movie" and go about your day.
There's a cars pope which means there is at the very least belief in a cars Jesus and by extension all other Abrahamic religions are represented in the cars universe
