Honestly a fucking disgrace if the players feel that way. It's a trophy, and one that was very winnable, and gives us a European spot. And the players who played should have and needed to push themselves if they want to start in the PL / CL.
Us and the EFL Cup has become a running joke at this point. If we don't crash our in the first round, we limp through a couple more before crashing out. I don't know how much of it is we don't care, but it's for to be at least a majority factor.
Well since there's no chance of us having to play Newcastle in this competition, I can root for them against Man United. More United chaos is the only potential silver lining for tonight.

That was the worst we've played this season. We lost almost all the 50/50 balls and didn't have the drive to win the game.
