Confirming it isn't just you. Has happened to me since day one on Eternity. Doesn't bother me a whole lot, but it does occur.

Yup, as long as the pics are on screen, the scrolling is laggy. I guess it's loading the full size pics rather than shrinked down versions.

Yes, it loads the full size of the image instead of scaling it down. It's an old issue that I need to fix. It has been reported here.
