excellent showing from var taking 5 minutes to call offside.

How on earth does it take that long and why did they need the ref to have a look. Maguire is clearly offside and makes himself active by going for the ball. This was much more offside than the Bruno goal against City last season

We should be forgiven for this half time performance. Not everybody can break down such an elite team as Fulham.

Fuck it, 3 points are 3 points

Yeah we'll take it. If we can stumble through a few more games until we get more first choice defenders back fit that would be great.

Clean sheet is the topping.

Oh yeah, great for Onana’s confidence too. It looks like he’s finally settling in

Not a great game and I think we could've been punished if we were up against a stronger side on some of those counters. Had decent control for parts of the match but a lot of the same weaknesses when we lose possession and get exposed. Not enough chances created.

Started to look like a real team with desire near the end though. I finally started to feel like we might actually score after the subs came on.

I'm gonna be watching for whether Pellistri starts the next game

The tenacity and pressing led to that goal. It would never have happened if he didn't keep at it.

Our midfield disappears when we try to play for the back, they stay so far up the field that our backline has to hoof it forward
