I've been casually browsing lemmy for about 5 months and so far I've gathered 1251 memes (or pics generally) on my phone which I almost never bother to share with anyone (I also don't think they are funny enough to share them with my people) and I barely ever see my collection.
I just keep saving images of mainly weird humor (like from this community).🤷
Sending a random image for anyone else who's on the hunt for random images as well as me.

I have a process. I horde memes for a while, but I add them to a triaging album. Then every so often I will go through the triaging album and do like a humor check. If it passes I add it to my main meme collection. Otherwise it's discarded. I also edit the memes as necessary if needed. (Eg. Low image quality or add missing context). So https://memes.idunnololz.com might not be updated too often but when it does I will add like a hundred memes at a time.

I used to do it back when /b/ was less bad (or maybe I just grew up). I have memes for any occation. I just have to find them when I need them.
