They're just bologna logs.

Yeah you could... But do you really want to? Should you? Idk man......

Since I'm in the shower, I'd at least run it under the water a minute or two to knock off the chill.

(Yep, I know this isn't !shittyfoodporn@lemmy.ca

Legit, there's something strangely satisfying in taking a cold hotdog straight from the package, slapping it onto a piece of bread with some condiments and just going down on it like a starved hedgehog.

Of all the animals, why name a hedgehog?

I get it tho I totally do that.

Aninjanameddaryll@sopuli.xyz · 2 pts · 3y

Have you ever seen hedgehogs eat? Now, imagine one that's starving

strawberrysocial@lemmy.world · 6 pts · 3y

Careful, some packages say not to eat them without cooking to 77C first.

Vomit is basically still food, you can eat it too

linearchaos@lemmy.world · 6 pts · 3y

Depends on why you vomited.

leapingleopard@lemmy.world · 5 pts · 3y

my cats will fight you for it

Nothing better than a floppy chilly meat stick

Zerlyna@lemmy.world · 2 pts · 3y

And they are delicious.

megane_kun@lemmy.world · 2 pts · 3y

You could, yes, but that doesn't mean you should.

The only kind of hotdog-like food I'd eat raw is those canned Vienna sausages. They don't improve upon cooking (or I just haven't found a way to cook them that makes it worth the effort), so I often eat them as is, out of the can.

Yup. Did it when I was a little kid.

To quote the best Starfleet captain yet seen: "Well there's surviving, then there's living"

If you’re looking for a no-cook midnight snack, it works. I’d wash it off with warm water first, though.
