We have to be there, proving to these people who are becoming alienated that our alternative works. Otherwise, they’ll fall to despair or fascism. I believe that the principle of mutual aid is one thing that anarchists got objectively right.

100% agree. I think that's largely what we see right now. Easy answers and solutions are given by reactionaries that already confirm to the worldview of people growing up in the US. Hence the growing fascist movement. Fascism is capitalism in decay, after all.
