It's really simple... Malema is really good at triggering the white body politic (which also happens to be the socio-political group with the most collective buying power) into rage-clicking hysterics - which translates into ad revenue bonanzas for the media bosses.

That's why. The media's purpose is not to inform... it's to make the media bosses rich.

GroundUp is the best we have - it is still, unfortunately, somewhat liberal, and it's mostly limited to news stories that affects WC, but it's still a crap-ton better than news24.
