Does lemmy automatically strip EXIF data from uploads?

Lensdump has an option in the settings to remove exif data when you upload pics.

Also, I think it'd be best if we keep img hosting off of the lemmy instances as that just increases load and cost here.

Based on a quick upload test on another server: yes. Uploads on this server seem to fail though.

Thanks for the quick check. I wonder how we might ensure that functionality won't/can't be ghost removed in the future. No offense to server admins :)
