So your saying, saving the world from disaster is about more than personal habits?

It's almost as if someone knew about this since the 70s and successfully distracted us from taking meaningful collective action

Well when “personal habits” add up they can make a huge difference; for example, if an entire town decides to overthrow the town and institute anarchy

Something that occurs over multiple generations is not a habit, a habit is something you do in your everyday life. Revolutionaries all had this habit of revolutioning until revolution's done. The point I'm making is these are not "personal habits".

I agree. It was meant to be a joke about the french beheading that one ruler after the other during the french revolution ;)
