Bleh. Game of Thrones creators being involved makes it an instant No. Three Body Problem just wasn’t my cup of tea after the first book and I think the whole thing is just going to meander after the first season. The writing and/or translation of the original was atrocious enough, no way D&D can save that if they could butcher GRRM’s writing. I have an idea why they chose this book series, there’s something they want to get to, but after that, I doubt they’ll have any idea how to carry it. There’s a sort of mystery that was enticing enough in the first book that made me more forgiving, but it just gets bad really quickly after that.

Why are people not just watching the original version of it on PBS?

Zero interest given that Cixin Liu is an apologist for the CCP’s genocide in Xinjiang.

Same. Not going to even bother with the article after that, much less watch it.
