Yeah I've had problems with them too. I tried selling an older graphics card I had on there back when GPUs were harder to come by. I posted it with pictures and everything but like a few minutes after I listed it I was immediately banned with no way to appeal. Ended up just selling it on Craigslist instead for probably more then I would have made in the end with ebay.
I found this one out the hard way too a few years back. I sold an instrument for like $1600 and never checked how much the selling fee would be, then after I withdrew the money my bank account got overdrafted because the next week ebay took ~$250 that I didn't have in it. Last time I ever sold something on that site
I like the A variants, I like pixels but don't care so much about the bigger phones. I just like a phone that works, I never usually upgrade that often just whenever I feel like I need too
If you wait, the Google store/Google Fi occasionally do really good trade-in offers. Earlier this year I traded in my 5a for a 7 at no cost outside of tax! It comes as a bill credit for 24 months so you have to finance the new phone; meaning getting their replacement insurance for the phone. May be a deal breaker for some, but to me it was a pretty killer deal.

G8 ThinQ makes sense, as one of the rare LG phone users they never released the G8 ThinQ here or I'd have bought it. RIP LG phones

Non eBay user here. When they say shipping label, I assume that also means you're paying for the actual shipping right?
breakerfall@lemmy.world · 3 pts · 3y
It's up to the seller if they want to charge for shipping, but either way, the shipper pays for the label.
EuphoricPenguin22@normalcity.life · 2 pts · 3y
Yeah, and if you do charge separate for shipping, selling fees still apply to the amount charged for shipping.

that's honestly strange

Why are you not waiting for 8?
Moonrise2473@feddit.it · 5 pts · 3y
He could wait another 12 months and get the 9 😉
