To add context. I have found a +1 greatsword but I could also invest into the +1 plate I found. The wands + staff I have I can via blacksmith and imbue juggling get up to +4 without spending any upgrades.
It seems Battlemage would allow me to focus more on the plate/defense, while warlock would force me to split the upgrades between greatsword and plate.

I forgot to add. I also have 5 upgrade scrolls as of now. I have spent only 1 at the start to make the +2 shield usable in sewers.
I also have no need for warlock satiety effects, as my horn of plenty covers that.
