I work from home and sit within ten feet of my tools so I guarantee I wouldn't make use of it, but I actually liked it enough that I went so far as to add it to my cart before talking myself out of it, haha!

Yes, I'm a machinist and it comes in handy quite often. Things like gently tapping parts into fixtures, prying collets from machines, etc...
