No idea why it posted sideways
Every time I try to post a picture from phone it posts sideways. Im sure someone smarter has taken notice.

Ah gotcha. Yep, did it from my phone.
I think lemmy strips the metadata from pictures before posting them. Unfortunately, that currently also includes the metadata about which way is up
