Don't worry I dual boot on my desktop and Linux only on my laptop. I just happened to be on the windows partition when the idea struck. Also I haven't made memes in a long time so thought including paint would be funny. And it is.
The good thing is, if it happens it wonât last long because lemmy has the worst case of collective ADHD ever recorded and we go through trends in a maximum of 3 days, as was ordained by the first lemmy moment.
There was an hour when I wasnât on Lemmy and I missed the whole beans thing. I logged in afterwards and it was all anyone could talk about, but I had missed the whole thing.
Thatâs fine. Individuals can have an autistic hyper fixation all they want. It has a fair bit of crossover with ADHD but is still it own separate thing.
Yes I was there, however I find the beans thing more silly, whilst they poop thing a bit distasteful, however quirky it was.
The good thing is that the entire user base gets to experience these, which was much the same in early Reddit. Present day reddit had few emergent, site wide memes anymore as it's too splintered and too farmy imho.
That's really nice. Too bad many features in it are not implemented. I liked that old version of MS Paint so when I got Win 7 I copied the exe from old Windows version to it.
