I love this. Are they all 100% modular synths? I'll have to listen again in my better speakers at home, but this would be such a cool experience to hear in a hall live in surround sound with some ambient lighting and just letting the drone take your mind in a journey. Have you ever considered taking field recordings and warping them into these sorts of textures?
I usually use modular synths, but for this one I used a couple of old standalone noise synths. It was 4ms Noise Swash --> Bleep Laps/Gieskes hss3i --> mixer <--> spring reverb. I chopped up a couple of the recordings using samplebrain and added that on top of the first two tracks to give a little more glitch.
I've never made anything with field recordings. I've tried recording a few things, but never followed through on using them in anything musical. Maybe in the future.
