What are you all playing right now?

For me, Supreme Commander Forged Alliance is the staple and GOAT.

Love me some Stellaris, I keep coming back to it. I tried to start some other Paradox games like HOI4 and EU4, but unfortunately it just doesn't click for me yet :(

If you wanna play multiplayer eu4 sometime, I can show you the ropes. Lots of stuff going on at once, but half the battle is just knowing what you can ignore until later.

Europa Universalis 2. Decided to go old school for a while.

I do that with Tropico a lot. Later installments just didn't quite capture the mad Caribbean dictator vibe for me.

Polytopia is great, my go-to phone game, haha

Call to Arms Ostfront, it's surprisingly much better than the original Call to Arms.

Me and the boys have been learning aoe4 lately. Is there still a community around it? Or has it mostly died out?

sparky@lemmy.pt · 1 pts · 3y

Yes it’s quite active from what I’ve seen. AOE4 and AOE3 DE are my two main games at the moment and I never have trouble populating a lobby, even at weird hours.

Civ 6 right now. I plan to buy Hearts of Iron 4, but I'm waiting to see if it is included in the Steam summer sale.

I know it gets a lot of hate, but I’m still having fun with humankind. Also bought CK3 recently on sale, but having trouble getting into it.

CK3 took me a little while to warm up to as well. Had to force myself through a couple games. It took me a bit to actually understand the mechanics of how the game works, but I think once it really starts to click, you'll have more fun with it.

Ive had some pretty funny story outcomes while failing. I'll stick with it a bit longer and see if it starts to make more sense.
