Fedivierse users seem to care even less about posts being appropriate for the community they're posted in than redditors. This clearly isn't the right place for this post (the community description specifically says screenshots from Twitter/Mastodon/etc) but here we are
I honestly think the inverse. I see it more on Reddit than Lemmy. Especially from bot accounts. I'd say it's a symptom of growing users and traffic. But that's just IMO
