It seems like the nightly fireworks have begun in my neighbourhood for Canada Day.

Gatineau side cancelled their saint Jean baptiste fireworks because of the forest fires...

ByWard had random people shooting fireworks from Rideau Street until 3AM last night, and then started again at 5AM for some reason.

It's been oddly silent over here so far, usually we get them as soon as the sun goes down
