I think I got like 20 unlock popups when I played Borderlands 2 for the first time.

Fallout NV is also pretty bad with this. Mods that remove all of the fucking popups from showing up on a new game are a must for me

Starting a new game in Oblivion and you get fucking mail from high profile people as soon as you leave the dungeon.
