Twelve South Launches 'ButterFly' 2-in-1 MagSafe Charger for iPhone and Apple Watch

This is the most elegant 2-in-1 I’ve seen to date, AND it fast charges iPhone (15W) and AW (5W). Price is steep and the only thing making me hesitate on grabbing one.

Edit: Also I wouldn’t mind a space gray option. Looks like it only comes in silver.

If you use integrated charging ports on like a charging station or like at an airport or something.

Sweet. I wish they would sell it in the EU.

I like how the video has a soundtrack that sounds like it’s from a new indie game trailer.

Android user here wondering about 15 watts being considered fast charging??

You can charge faster but phone batteries aren’t liquid-cooled like EVs, so heat generated during high-speed charging will degrade that battery over time. That’s just chemistry and physics.

Apple isn’t about to get burnt by battery lifespan issues a second time.
