Does anyone else only get a very small video player (i.e. thumbnail sized) for videos? And you're forced to use that or full screen? Also, does redgifs embed or not? Its not embedding for me

Yes. But if you hit the little button with the arrow pointing four directions, it goes full screen which is somewhat better
