How about using Haptic Touch to ‘peek’ at parent comments, like in Apollo?

Probably one of the most convenient QoL features in Apollo was using Haptic Touch (ie long-pressing) to get a quick peek at the parent comment. It also gave you the option to jump back to the parent comment as a quick way to sip around through a post.

It was a super-near QoL addition that made Apollo really nice to use, and I’d love to see it on Memmy as well!

I like this. We should remember that it’ll probably be a LONG time before we see this feature as it’s pretty non-trivial to implement.

Yeah, just thought I’d bring it up so someone on the team sees this and maybe considers it. There’s a ton of other Apollo features that are fresh in my memory, but will probably fade over time.

Good point about the memory of certain features fading. I hadn’t considered that.

Wha?! I used Apollo for years and never knew about this! That would’ve been amazing!
